Over the past four years Coppernob has developed into a vibrant energetic company leading the way in enabling card crafters and scrapbookers to take the first steps to producing professionally handcrafted greetings cards, presentation boxes, memory books, scrapbook pages, envelopes and frames all from one simple to use scoring board.
When Josie began card crafting she never imagined how her work would lead to exploring the fascinating possibilities of simple cardstock, paper and every kind of embellishment - beads, feathers, shells...
 Early in 2003 Josie wanted a multi-purpose tool to make precise scores and folds for presentation boxes and cards that eliminated much of the measuring.
So she invented her own M&F (Multiscore & Fold) Scoreboard with the help of husband Peter. Such an innovation was their M&F board that it won the Bronze Medal in the Craft Category at the British Invention Show in 2004.
The M&F Scoreboard soon established itself as a market leader in the UK. This was followed swiftly by Coppernob’s CreaseMouse scoring tool. The company now produce Design CDs to share technical expertise and inspire crafters to fully utilize their products on the quest for original, distinctive handcrafted keepsake items.
Coppernob’s rapid growth meant Peter taking the scary step of giving up his office-based career to take over the company’s administration .The husband and wife team combine the expertise of two distinct professional careers to create their products. Josie has 20 years working background in art, teaching and communication support. Peter has over 30 years experience of draughtsmanship and engineering.
Being nominated for exhibition space at the CHA Show in Las Vegas in February 2006 prompted Coppernob to complete the next product in their range. Their Multiscore IMP has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the US market. The IMP reduces time and effort producing blank items for decorating allowing crafters more time to be creative.
Toe Tapper design templates are Coppernob’s latest product and provide the first steps in a new direction – one that will help crafters to celebrate every milestone on life’s journey – births, marriages, birthdays and every kind of festival and celebration. Toe Tapper templates create shoe shapes that embrace a diverse range of materials and decorating techniques, making them ideal for workshops and opportunities for linked sales.
